About
Atticus Murphy is currently the lead graphic designer for Houghton University, working in the Marketing Communications Department. He graduated in the spring of 2022 from Ohio University with a Master of Arts in Visual Communication: Information Graphics and Interactive Design. Atticus attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University from 2013–2015, after which he joined the Ohio Army National Guard and transferred to the Ohio State University in 2016. He graduated with a BFA, concentrating in painting and drawing, from The Ohio State University in May of 2019. Outside of graphic design, he is deeply passionate about hiking, camping and rock climbing as well as painting and collecting art coffee table books and going out for coffee. Atticus artwork has been shown at the annual Art and Technology Exhibition at Hopkins Hall Gallery, OSU, in 2016–2017, as well as the Senior BFA exhibition at Urban Arts Space in the spring of 2019 and the VISCOM Master’s Project Exhibition at the Schoonover Gallery, Ohio University, in 2022.
